About ARJF

The Amayah Renee Jamonte Foundation was founded by Debra Talley of North Carolina. Debra has always been passionate about helping individuals who have had a hard life due to no fault of their own. This is especially true for young adults who have matured out of the foster care systems. For a lot of these young adults this means they will be faced with homelessness as they don’t have many resources or anyone to turn to for help.

Who We Are...

As The ARJ Foundation mission states, our goal is to raise awareness of the ever-increasing homelessness of young adults who’ve aged out of the foster care system. ARJF aims to prevent homelessness of these young adults while simultaneously assisting them on their journey to becoming productive members of society. We also make it our mission to assist minors from disadvantaged backgrounds to stay in school and continue their education.

What We Do...

Over the next few years, The Amayah Renee Jamonte Foundation will expand its outreach to include services for single families, women, and men who have been or are currently at risk of becoming homeless due to a variety of different circumstances. The ARJ Foundation aims to accomplish this by providing services that will assist individuals in becoming self-sufficient productive members of society.
